    I did not/ I had not

    Care este diferenta intre :

I did not understand    si     I had not understand ?

Si cum se numesc timpurile acestea in romaneste?

    Please please ! Smile

    Re: I did not/ I had not

I did not understand = "nu am inteles" -> perfectul compus (RO) / simple past tense (EN)

I had not understood = "nu intelesesem" -. mai mult ca perfectul (RO) / past perfect (EN)

    cu placere! Smile

    Re: I did not/ I had not

Din cate-mi amintesc de la scoala, nu am auzit niciodata "I had not" ci "I have not/I haven't", cat despre verbul "understand", trecutul ar fi "I didn't understand". Dar niciodata nu am auzit ca varianta corecta "I had not understand/understood" Confused

Daca gresesc, corectati-ma (cu explicatii), niciodata nu e tarziu sa invat ceva nou! Wink

geani, nu prea te-ai impacat cu gramatica.

"i did not understand" ->  "understand" e aici la modul infinitiv (mod nepredicativ). "understand" e un verb neregulat, adica nu-i adaugi "ed" ca sa formezi trecutul.

"understand/understood/understood" -> cele 3 forme (infinitiv, simple past, past participle)

had (not) + past participle =  Past Perfect

have (not) + past participle = Present Perfect

Nu vad sensul corectarii tale in ceea e priveste conjugarea verbului "understand"...nu acolo am cerut clarificare, ci in ceea ce priveste "had not" si "have not".

Ma rog, eu nu am folosit niciodata aceasta formulare. Prefer sa ma descurc ca pana acum decat sa ma pierd in timpuri si conjugari, sa sune la la ora de engleza britanica din scoala. Huh?

Dar oricum, mersi de explicatia cu exemple, asa cum am cerut-o.Yes

    Re: I did not/ I had not

partea cu formele verbului "understand" era pt. Paula. dar in ceea ce priveste clasele de British English din scoala, sa stii ca formele de mai sus se folosesc in mod curent in engleza americana vorbita/scrisa, cel putin la fel de des ca trecutul "simplu" (forma cu "did (not)"), nu-s numai asa cde umplutura intr-o carte de gramatica. cu siguranta ca si tu folosesti mai mult ca perfectul in romana, asa ca de ce sa nu-l folosesti si in engleza?
